Is My Computing Device Being Monitored?
Under section 5.6, Ownership of Information, of the IPA Information Security & Privacy policy, IPA reserves the right, without prior notice, to access, block, monitor, audit, review, search, inspect, delete, and/or disclose any message, communication, file, or voice message that is or was generated on a computer or portable device owned, leased, operated, or maintained by IPA at any time or for any reason. The use of a password, encryption, or the deletion of a document or information does not limit IPA’s ability to audit, access, disclose, and/or review the use of its systems in the normal course of business.

How can I verify the authenticity of a bitly link?
Bitly is a URL shortener service that enables users to shorten website links. Scammers have now hidden easily suspicious links behind bitly links. To verify a bitly link's actual destination before clicking on it, add a plus symbol ("+") at the end of the URL in your browser. For example, to check bit.ly/Wn2Xdz, enter bit.ly/Wn2Xdz+ into your browser and hit the enter key. The actual destination link will be displayed to you.

How Can I Update My Bitdefender Antivirus Software?
Bitdefender Endpoint Security Tools is an antivirus solution designed to protect your IPA-owned computer against malicious software, handle any malicious programs or software on your system, and guard against threats to the network. Here is how to do this: Ensure your computer is connected to a reliable internet service. Double-click the Bitdefender icon in the system tray (as shown in Image 1) to open the BEST window. On the BEST app window, click on the circular button (as indicated in Image 2) to open the “Scan Tasks” menu. Click on the “Full Scan” option and the “Check for Updates” option (as indicated in image 3). An event log will be created immediately for each task/option with an event progress rate (from 1% to 100%). Once both tasks (Full Scan & Check for Update) are completed successfully, the “You are at risk” notification on the BEST wizard should change to “You are protected. This system is safe,” as seen in Image 3.

How To Request Support in IPA Support Center
This document is a step-by-step guide that outlines how to open a support ticket in the IPA Support Center. There are primarily two ways to open a support ticket. 1. You can simply send an email to support@poverty-action.org Please try to use a descriptive subject (“Problems adding a budget viewer in Salesforce”) and include as much detail as possible in the body of the email (which project, which vault, which application, screenshots, what happened etc.) 2. Using the IPA Support Center app tile on your Microsoft Dashboard.

How To Request for a New Hire or Returning Staff Account Setup
The New Hire Account Setup request has never been this simple as it is now. The entire process has been automated now, so simply MIST will manage the process and reach out to you proactively for equipment ordering and any setup questions. Ensure that your HR team has correctly updated the NetSuite application with the records of the new hire. Once this happens, the employee technology onboarding will be automated based on the NetSuite records and automatically tracked in FreshService. MIST will manage the process and reach out to you proactively for equipment ordering and any setup questions if required. The hiring manager will receive automated communications once the staff accounts are setup in systems. 👉A note of emphasis: all actions start from the employee record setup in NetSuite, so it is vital that those records are entered promptly once an offer letter has been accepted. It's that simple!
